FutureGen Recruitment is working with a well -established, independent planning consultancy based in Manchester that is looking to appoint a Planner or Senior Planner to support its growing workload.

The Role
The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of planning work, with a strong focus on strategic housing and residential -led development. Projects range from site promotion and Local Plan work through to major planning applications and appeals.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively, taking ownership of projects, and being part of a team where quality and long -term relationships matter.
Who They're Looking For
* MRTPI Chartered Planner
* Background in Local Authority Planning (Development Management and/or Policy) or private consultancy
* Experience or interest in strategic housing and residential development
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Commercially aware, with a pragmatic approach to planning
