Job Title: Cover Supervisor (PRU - SEMH)
Location: Ellesmere Port
Salary: £120 - £130
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Hours: 08:20am - 15:45pm
Key Responsibilities
Supervise classes during teacher absence, delivering pre-planned work.
Manage challenging behaviour confidently in line with school policies.
Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
Build positive, restorative relationships with pupils to encourage engagement.
Support small group interventions and assist with pastoral duties. Requirements
Proven experience working with young people, ideally within a PRU, SEND, or challenging behaviour setting.
Resilient, patient, and able to remain calm under pressure.
Strong behaviour management skills.
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. Benefits
