Your new role Management reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary. Budgeting & forecasting: Support planning cycles, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Financial analysis: Provide insights into performance trends, profitability, and cost efficiency to aid decision-making. Business partnering: Work closely with senior stakeholders across operations, risk, and compliance to support strategic initiatives. Regulatory compliance: Ensure reporting meets financial services standards, including FCA and other regulatory frameworks. Process improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and enhance financial systems. What you'll need to succeed Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with strong technical knowledge. Proven experience in management accounting within financial services or a regulated industry. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) desirable. Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly. Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. What you'll get in return Competitive salary package (typically £38,000–£45,000, depending on experience).
