Purpose of the Role
The primary focus of this role is to support the Site Supervisor and Unit Manager daily, overseeing Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary crushing processes, as well as Asphalt Plant production, while ensuring compliance with current legislation and company SHE and Quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Work safely to protect yourself and others.
* Follow and actively participate in MQP’s SHE and Quality policies and procedures (e.g., EMS).
* Meet deadlines effectively.
* Promote a Zero Harm and Zero LTI culture.
* Ensure sufficient resources are available to optimize production.
* Maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.
* Order incoming materials for the Asphalt Plant to meet production schedules.
* Provide production management with KPI data.
* Be flexible to cover other roles within your capabilities.
* Comply with responsibilities under the Mines and Quarries Act.
* Use Asphalt Plant and Quarry Processing Operations efficiently and effectively.
* Identify and implement site improvements, projects, and capital investments.
* Maintain the 5S’s improvement ethos.
* Support maintenance team with plant breakdown tasks.
* Maintain technical standards.
* Respond to and record plant breakdowns.
