Specialist Support Practitioner HE


ROLE DESCRIPTION

Do you want to make a difference every day?

Newcastle College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Specialist Support Practitioner to join a passionate team that supports the achievements of students with additional learning needs and disabilities.

In this vital role, you will be at the heart of student success and will:

* Deliver high quality one to one or small group support to HE students with diverse learning needs
* Support inclusive learning
* Help students access campus and curriculum
* Support awareness raising and understanding of access and inclusion


What We are Looking For:

* A warm, adaptable, and enthusiastic individual.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing.
* Level 2 English & Maths (or equivalent).
* Qualified to level 5 or above.
* Flexibility to work evenings and support off-site provision.
