Vacancy: Social Worker - Adult Safeguarding
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Adult Safeguarding team. This vital role allows you to make a real difference in the lives of adults at risk, promoting their rights, safety, and wellbeing.
You will work within a multi-agency framework to respond to safeguarding concerns, undertake Section 42 enquiries, and develop person-centred and outcome-focused protection plans. You'll be part of a supportive team committed to continuous learning, practice development, and service transformation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and coordinate safeguarding enquiries under the Care Act 2014.
2. Work collaboratively with adults at risk, their families, and partner agencies to assess risk and develop safeguarding plans.
3. Apply professional judgement and legal frameworks to complex cases.
4. Maintain accurate and timely records in line with statutory requirements.
5. Promote Making Safeguarding Personal principles in all aspects of your work.
About You
* Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England.
* Experience in adult safeguarding, mental capacity assessments, and risk management.
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Human Rights Act.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
