We are currently recruiting a Cardiographer in Cardiology to join our specialist team at The Royal Brompton Hospital, Chelsea.
Band 3 clinical roles for Cardiographers are within diagnostic Non-Invasive Cardiology, performing resting 12 lead ECGs, ECG holters and ambulatory monitor fittings. This is a patient facing role dealing with a variety of patients from paediatrics to adults including congenital heart disease. Non-Invasive Cardiology experience will be advantageous.

Job Summary
* To work as a team member within cardiac physiology without supervision; record high quality electrocardiograms (ECGs) in inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring abnormal results are reported to clinical staff in a timely manner.
* To support departmental administration as required e.g. booking of appointments, record keeping.
* To ensure appropriate maintenance of ECG machines ensuring they remain functional and adequately stocked with consumable items e.g. paper, electrodes, etc so as to be immediately ready for use.
* To undertake further training to develop skills to perform or assist in other tasks within cardiac physiology e.g. assisting during exercise tests.
* To work to standards set by the Society for Cardiology Science and Technology (SCST) and other relevant professional bodies.
