We have a permanent Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer role available within the Tata Steel's Steelpark site. Steelpark is the UK's largest steel distribution and processing centre and also one that is supported by a domestic steel mill. The successful applicant will hold a UK time served Electrical apprenticeship and hold significant experience within a heavy industry, having conducted reactive and preventative maintenance. Role: Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer Location: Tata Steel, Steelpark Way, Willenhall, Wolverhampton WV11 3SQ Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 + 18% Shift Allowance = Total Salary £37,760 - £44,840 Shift Patterns: 3-shift rotating pattern (mornings, afters and nights), Monday - Friday. 37.5 hours per week Start: ASAP but pending the successful result of a medical assessment. This does involve a drug and alcohol test. Responsibilities: Perform necessary breakdown repairs and lead preventative maintenance activities. Facilitate engineering solutions for process improvement to ensure efficiency and productivity targets are met. Report and record maintenance and repair details using relevant IT and maintenance management systems.
