Are you passionate about sustainable energy and agriculture? MSP Limited is seeking a dynamic Business Development & Account Manager to lead and grow our agricultural energy portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to drive impact in rural electrification, irrigation, agro-processing, and cold chain energy systems.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute a business development strategy focused on agriculture.
* Build Partnerships: Engage with farmers, cooperatives, NGOs, and government bodies to identify opportunities and secure contracts.
* Tailor Solutions: Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver hybrid energy systems (solar, battery, diesel, grid) that meet agricultural needs.
* Drive Sales: Manage tenders, proposals, and partnerships to grow revenue and expand MSP’s footprint.
* Represent MSP: Be our voice at trade shows, conferences, and forums advocating for sustainable energy in agriculture.
Who You’ll Work With:
You’ll collaborate across MSP’s Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Customer Support teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
* 5–7 years’ experience in business development, sales, or partnerships in agriculture, energy, or rural infrastructure.
* Proven success in closing deals and managing stakeholder relationships.
* Strong understanding of agricultural operations and energy needs.
* Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinker, and relationship builder.
* Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months, max 6 points).
* Legal right to work in the UK and DBS check required.
Desirable:
* Experience with donor-funded agricultural programs or government initiatives.
* Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and financing models (e.g., PAYGO, leasing).
* Exposure to emerging markets or rural development.
