As the Programme Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing programmes and complex projects, ensuring they are defined and set up for success. Your expertise in hands-on delivery, solid finance management, and stakeholder engagement will be pivotal in achieving business outcomes, all while maintaining a strong focus on governance and programme goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and set up Programmes using appropriate governance and delivery methodologies
2. Define and align programme scope and goals with stakeholders
3. Manage financials and resources, monitoring programme expenditure
4. Maintain accurate programme/project plans, identifying dependencies
5. Proactively manage programme risks and issues
6. Validate technical solution designs to meet business needs
7. Drive change readiness and effective change management
8. Champion effective programme communications, keeping stakeholders engaged
Skills & Experience:
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, our client is seeking candidates with the following skills and experience:
9. 5-10 years of Programme Manager experience in the Automotive/Manufacturing industry - Desirable
10. Proven track record of successfully delivering enterprise-wide projects
11. Strong hands-on approach with solid finance management skills
12. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
13. Experience in programme & project management, with an emphasis on governance
14. Capacity to navigate through difficult situations and motivate teams
15. Proficient in escalation management and risk mitigation
Additional Requirements:
16. Practical knowledge of core project management techniques and methods
17. Experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies
18. Degree or Diploma in Computing/Business Administration or equivalent - Ideal
19. Advanced Project & Programme Management accreditation, e.g., Prince2, Agile/SAFe - Ideal
