Reporting Sonographer, Grade 7, fixed term of 6 months (until 30th April 2026). Full‑time and part‑time options are available.
Site: Bristol Royal Infirmary, Town Bristol.
Salary: £47,810 – £54,710 per annum pro rata. Closing date: 10/11/2025.

Responsibilities
* Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations.
* Provide diagnostic reports in accordance with the agreed level of authorisation.
* Participate in service provision across all of the Trust’s hospitals.
* Communicate and liaise with patients, clinicians and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Training and Qualifications
* BSc (Hons) Radiography or equivalent.
* Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or PG Certificate/Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound from a CASE approved university.
* Registration – HCPC or equivalent professional body.
Knowledge and Experience
* Comprehensive knowledge of ultrasound modalities and techniques.
* Competence in independent reporting.
* Ability to manage own workload and supervise others.
* Previous NHS experience.

Employment Details
Full‑time or part‑time applications will be considered, with flexible working arrangements available. The post holder will work across UHBW sites, including St Michaels’, Bristol Royal Infirmary and Weston General Hospital.
