Humes Outfitters is a family-owned country clothing retailer based in Kelso, located in the scenic Scottish Borders. With a dedicated team of 20 passionate country enthusiasts, the business now operates three retail stores in Kelso, Alnwick and St Andrews and an online fulfillment center. Humes believes in the value of the countryside and actively supports initiatives such as The Country Trust and RHET, which provide opportunities for disadvantaged children to connect with nature.
Role Description
This is a full-time (part-time considered), on-site role for a Content Creator based in Kelso. The Content Creator will be responsible for producing high-quality content across multiple platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing materials. Daily tasks include email marketing, photography, social media scheduling, video, copywriting. The role also involves creating graphics, working with ads agency, and analyzing performance metrics to refine strategies.
Qualifications
* Content creation and storytelling expertise, including strong writing and creative skills.
* Experience with multimedia production, and content editing
* Proficiency in social media platforms (instagram, Facebook and TikTok) and knowledge of content marketing strategies.
* Understanding of audience engagement and analytics to measure content performance.
* Strong organizational and time management skills for project coordination.
* Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in an on-site team environment.
* Familiarity with countryside themes or lifestyle content is an advantage.
* Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred.

* Photography skills inclusive of setting up lighting and working in a studio environment
* Photoshop
* Photo Editing - Lightroom or similar
* Video Editing - Capcut or similar

Pay: £15,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
