We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Stafford.

In this role, you'll lead the successful delivery of complex technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams, including engineers, business analysts, sales, and other key stakeholders to align project goals and drive delivery excellence.
You’ll have ownership of the full project lifecycle, from initial client engagement through to final delivery, providing leadership, structure, and clear direction at every stage.
This is a key role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys leading teams, and is passionate about delivering impactful solutions that meet both client and business objectives.
Salary: Up to £75,000 depending upon skills and experience.

You Will
SUMMARY OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support with resource planning and allocation across Safety & Control ensuring resource utilisation is in line with business targets and required to deliver projects and services to customers on an ongoing basis.
* Identify resource shortfalls and capacity issues and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure that all deliverables are met.
* Provide regular reporting on capacity for project delivery.
* Oversee project plans, timelines, and budgets, with a focus on achieving or improving on as sold contract profits whilst delivering success for the client.
* Manage a portfolio of projects, and act as the primary or escalation point of contact for all project‑related issues.
* Monitor and track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, both internal and external.
* Continuously improve project delivery processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction, identifying opportunities for additional work, variations, and ways to improve on delivery margins.
* Maintain and develop excellent relationships with key customer contacts, positioning ITI Group as a trusted technical partner.
* Establish appropriate measures and reduce risks to ensure business continuity for clients in the event of disruption.
* Take responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships with key vendors/suppliers, utilising the legal team to aid in developing suitable contractual frameworks.
* Competently and efficiently plan & control multiple medium‑sized projects / ongoing support projects.
* Establish, lead and manage the planning, control and contract administration of large and complex projects, programmes and frameworks.
* Identify selling opportunities within and outside any project and ensure they are followed up.
* Promote and apply company policy, procedures, and decisions, especially within project teams.
* Establish appropriate agreements with suppliers/sub‑contractors where this brings a business advantage.
* Promote and ensure conformity and consistency in the application of the company management process within projects.
* Follow all health and safety regulations, procedures and protocols.
* Successfully identify and complete all relevant training both in‑house and external, as required.
* Have line management responsibilities for assigned team.
Summary Of Requirements
We are looking for:
Experience And Knowledge
* Proven project management and team leadership experience.
* Undertaken a structured project delivery lifecycle as a Level 5 Engineer Project Manager.
* Minimum 2 years (typically 3-5 years) successful and productive experience at Level 5 Project Manager.
* Deep understanding of Oil, Gas, Nuclear or Power industries, with well established network within said industry.
* Extensive experience with software development and configuration tools, methods and processes.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
* Deep knowledge of Project Planning Tools – e.g. MS Project, Prima Vera.
* Proven project planning and project coordination/control skills.
* Deep commercial, financial and contract management skills, with experience of NEC and other forms of contract.
* Use of formal contract management tools (e.g. CEMAR) would be advantageous.
* Proficient in generation of formal technical documentation for the full life cycle of projects.
* Good knowledge of IT/OT Solution delivery and of related governance issues.
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of Quality Management System procedures – able to support Quality Audits for projects.
* Appropriate Degree in Science or Engineering subject.
* Must have achieved Professional Accreditation with recognised organisation (IET/BCS) or provide suitable evidence of alternative CPD.
* Formal Project Management Qualifications – PRINCE2, GAMP, APMP.

* Excellent analytical skills.
* Ability to estimate, plan and manage complex activities and projects.
* Ability to estimate time and costs for complex or novel proposals based on experience and norms.
* Ability to lead complex bids and sales campaigns.
Company Pre‑Requisites
* Pass DBS and BPSS check.
* Have a minimum of 2‑1 degree in a relevant subject.
* Be a UK National (no dual passports).
* Have lived in the UK for the last 5 years.
* Have no spent or current criminal convictions.
* Be prepared to work in the Nuclear defence sector.
* Experience in regulated industry (preferred).
