Active Care Group’s Care in the Home division continues to grow, providing safe, reliable, and outcome-based care to clients through our support workers, clinicians, and management team.

We are expanding our team and seek a Clinical Manager to join our Care in The Home division, where we employ Nurses as Clinical Managers.
This is an excellent opportunity as we have ambitious growth plans to support children, young people, and adults with conditions such as brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, respiratory, and gastrointestinal conditions including PEG feeding.
We require someone with strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for teaching and mentoring, working closely with a team of professionals to support individuals with complex needs in their own homes.
Please note: We cannot sponsor candidates requiring a UK work visa.
Working hours:
* Monday - Friday, with on-call duties for emergencies
* Home-based with regional travel (Chester, Llanfairfechan, Cyfflliog, Ruthin, Saughall, Flint, Liverpool, Preston)
Key responsibilities:
* Training and assessing support staff in complex care skills
* Updating and maintaining care plans
* Delegating clinical tasks in line with policies
* Conducting annual observations and competency assessments
* Ensuring compliance and accurate documentation
* Handling safeguarding issues calmly and effectively
* Liaising with care funders and teams daily
* Auditing patient records and visiting clients to teach competencies
* Monitoring staff welfare and conducting risk assessments
Qualifications:
* Current NMC Pin registration or experienced adult nurse (with recent pediatric experience)
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Full driving license and own vehicle
* Knowledge of vents, bowel/bladder management, tracheostomy, catheterization, epilepsy, blood glucose monitoring, NIVs, Nebs, PEG, challenging behaviour, ADHD, and Autism
