Location: Leeds or Halifax
Salary: £61,344 – £74,976 pa
Contract: Permanent, Full Time (35 hours)

We’relooking for a commercially focused and data-driven Commercial Marketing Performance Manager to join our Affluent, Save & Invest Full Funnel Marketing team within Brands, Marketing & Experience.
This role sits at the heart of our Strategy & Performance function, with accountability for driving and optimising the commercial performance of marketing.
You’llown performance tracking,reportingand forecasting—using data and insight tomonitoroutcomes, optimise investment and ensure spend is aligned to clear financial targets.
This role is focused on in-year performance,tradingand optimisation, ensuring marketing investment delivers against financial targets and commercial priorities.It’sa great fit for someone who’s commercially sharp, highly data-literate, and comfortable navigating complexity to drive clear, insight-led decisions.
Whatyou’llbe doing
Performance & trading management
1. Leading in-year trading cycles, using real-time performance data, forecasting and scenario planning to track delivery against targets and optimise plans dynamically
2. Designing and owning performance tracking and reporting frameworks to ensure clear visibility of outcomes and enable data-led decision making
3. Identifyingrisks and opportunities early, and drivingtimelyinterventions to stay on track
4. Being responsible forthe allocation and management of the Affluent, Save & Invest Marketing Budget and the annual Marketing Contribution targets and performance.
Driving return on investment and improving marketing efficiency
5. Maximising return on investment by continuously optimising spend using performance data, channel efficiencyinsightsand commercial analysis
6. Collaborating with Insight, Planning and Effectiveness teams to evaluate performance and ensure activity delivers measurable commercial value
7. Embedding robust measurement frameworks to track, evaluate and improve marketing effectiveness over time
Strategy alignment & optimisation
8. Translating business priorities into clear marketing targets and performance metrics aligned to commercial outcomes
9. Driving consistency in how marketing performance is measured,evaluatedand improved across the team
Storytelling using data-insights
10. Creating clear, compelling narratives that translate complex performance data into actionable insight

You’llalso bring proven experience andtrack recordacross:
Commercial & strategic foresight (5+ years)
11. Strong understanding of revenue drivers, return on investment, costmanagementand value creation
12. Experiencein owning the annual marketing budget and commercial targets andaligning marketing activity directly to commercial outcomes and growth priorities
Performance & trading management (5+ years)
13. Experience running in-year trading cycles and tracking performance against targets
14. Ability toidentifyrisks and opportunities early and adapt plans at pace
Analytical & dataexpertise(5+ years)
15. Advanced analytical capability, with experience working with complex datasets,modellingand forecasting and ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling commercial insight
16. Strong experience using data to inform decisions, challenge assumptions and optimise outcomes
17. Confidence with tools such as Excel for forecasting, scenarioplanningand return on investment analysis
It would be great if you also had
18. Experience within financial services or a regulated environment
19. Experience in marketing effectiveness,optimisationor performance roles
20. Exposure to affluent, wealth,savingsor investment products
