Treasury Analyst
Location: Central London (Hybrid – c. 3 days office)
Salary: £32, – £36, per annum
Type: Permanent
A growing retail group in Central London is seeking a motivated Treasury Analyst to join its Group Finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual early in their finance career who is eager to develop specialist skills in treasury, cash management, and banking operations within a fast‑paced, multi‑brand environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring strong liquidity management, accurate daily cash operations, and robust banking controls, while supporting wider business initiatives and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and update the daily cash position
2. Download MT statements and maintain FX rates
3. Support short-term cash flow forecasting and variance analysis
4. Create funding payments and manage treasury payment templates
5. Perform administrative tasks across online banking platforms
6. Maintain banking access, including user setup and leaver updates
7. Keep bank signatories and account records up to date
8. Ensure treasury activities follow internal controls and regulatory policies
9. Support KYC requests and banking documentation
10. Assist in preparing the monthly Treasury report pack
11. Complete month-end deliverables within deadlines
12. Manage the Treasury mailbox and respond to queries
13. Maintain legacy Points of Contact for counterparty banks
About You
14. Some previous finance experience (AP, AR, cash office or junior treasury desirable)
15. Ideally exposure to retail or consumer‑facing environments
16. Strong numerical and analytical skills
17. Confident with Excel and eager to learn treasury systems
18. Detail‑driven, organised and proactive
19. A growth mindset with ambition to develop within Treasury and Finance
