This role sits at the heart of a growing food manufacturer. You’ll be the bridge between the commercial, operations, and R&D teams, making sure everything that leaves the site (from data to documentation) is spot on.
What you’ll be doing:

Being the main technical contact for customers; answering queries, sorting documentation, and supporting audits.

Keeping product specs, allergen info, and nutritional data accurate and up to date.
*
Supporting product launches and trials with solid technical input.
*
Making sure all product info meets food legislation and customer standards.
*
Looking for smarter ways to manage technical systems and improve how information flows across the business.
*
Sharing knowledge and training others so everyone understands the “why” behind the standards.
What you’ll need:

A degree in Food Science, Food Technology or similar.
*
Around 5+ years in a technical or specifications role within food manufacturing.
*
A solid grasp of food labelling laws and retailer codes.
*
Experience with spec systems like SpecPage, Hamilton Grant, or similar.
*
A sharp eye for detail and the confidence to manage projects and people around you.
