Female Support Worker!An opportunity has arisen to join one of our well established Supported Living homes, supporting adults with a learning disability in the Neath area.You must have: On going right to work in the UK A FULL UK driving license A car - part of the role is taking the clients out weekly Flexibility to to work mornings, day shifts, evenings and an sleep in over night.*Female only* due to client preference.We are looking for professional, dedicated and caring individual who can offer commitment to delivering high quality support and care to our service users, promoting independence within their own home.Ideally you will have experience supporting clients with learning disabilities.It's essential you are confident delivering personal care with a mindful approach towards protecting the dignity of the individual and promoting their independence.You will be working on either a 1 to 1 or 2 to 1 basis depending on the needs of the service user and the home environment.It's desirable that you have at least an QCF level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care however we can help you work towards this qualification.We can offer you:On-going training packageSmartphone app to manage your availability and allocated shiftsOn-call supportProgression opportunities, QCF Level 2/3 in Health and Social CareFlexible working with vacancies from 16 hours to 35 hours per weekContracted hoursThe opportunity to join a well established team and passionate family businessIn order to be considered for this job you will need the following:Right to live and work in the UKReferee contact details for your current place of work, and for all employments in the past 5 years or your 3 most recent jobsFull driving licence and access to a car preferredQCF in Health and Social Care highly preferable.Be prepared to register with Social Care WalesUnder Regulation 10 (Dignity and Respect), care providers must make every reasonable effort to respect a client's request for a carer of a specified gender.TPBN1_UKTJ
