Overview
Clinical Advisor - West Midlands, M5 North. Location: Rental / Sales & Territory Area Cover - West Midlands, M5 North. Reporting to: Clinical Nurse Manager. The role aims to maximise and be one of our professional ambassadors for all the clinical product profiles of Linet UK Limited. Actively assisting as part of the Rentals, Sales & Clinical Team to ensure support and delivery of clinical and product training excellence within West Midlands, M5 North / UK sites if necessary. You will deliver a strategic service to the business and maintain regulatory compliance. You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Linet and other associated product ranges, including their operating instructions. A strong understanding of NHS challenges in both Acute and integrated care is expected, along with excellent people management and decision-making abilities.
Responsibilities
* Provide excellent and inspirational clinical product training and support to various client sites, management, and colleagues in the sales and clinical delivery team.
* Drive outputs in collaboration with the Clinical Manager, maintaining focus on business objectives, company values, service level agreements and effective relationships.
* Assist with staff/patient surveys in liaison with the Clinical Manager and Trust Approved Officers; collate results for management discussions.
* Lead, manage and develop the role through effective people management, including coaching, motivating and developing capabilities within the service/training provision.
* Develop and collate clinical training documentation and research to support the product portfolio and long-term strategy.
* Undertake audits, monitoring and assessments as requested by the Sales/Clinical Manager against workloads and quality standards; verify work undertaken by engineers, installers/collectors and cleaners/assemblers.
* Collate, interpret and act upon training tools to ensure a consistent team approach and delivery to the customer.
* Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and business stakeholders to drive additional business opportunities aligned with the long-term strategy.
* Assist in planning and implementing sustainable recruitment, retention and succession processes; work with HR to manage staffing requirements.
* Review processes and procedures regularly to ensure performance and retention; educate and train customers to maintain consistent professional standards and support attainment of additional qualifications where necessary.
* Undertake internal training with colleagues and on-site nursing/site representatives regarding the Linet UK Group Product range.
* Review customer feedback/satisfaction with the line manager on a regular basis.
* Maintain accurate records and liaise with relevant departments to fulfil role remit.
General and Compliance
* Perform responsibilities in line with the company quality manual and relevant objectives.
* Adhere to departmental and business procedures and applicable policies, including quality, health & safety, and environmental documents.
* Be ready to assist other teams to promote Linet UK to customers and within SLA/contractual obligations, complying with required policies and H&S requirements.

Role Requirements / Person Specification
* Education & Training: Registered with NMC (valid registration); minimum 5 years post-registration experience in a related role; degree or equivalent; supervisory/people management experience.
* Operate to standards set by professional bodies; experience delivering support to clientele and business; CPD evidence.
* Knowledge of risk management; understanding NHS equality and diversity strategies; working knowledge of NHS principles, procedures and protocols.
* Experience of supporting and training nurses in clinical settings; implementing protocols and clinical guidance; maintains competence within scope of practice.
* Excellent MS Office and IT skills.
Other
* Understand budgeting and working within delivery/service perimeters; value facilities and amenities across sites.
* Ability to lift heavy or bulky items in line with Health and Safety; pride in working in a diverse workforce.
