The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the next phase of growth—responsible for generating new revenue, forming strategic partnerships, and bringing in high-value clients.
The role will be working from hom with the occasional visit to their offices in North London.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Generation
* Proactively identify and engage potential clients across the construction sector.
* Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
* Lead discovery conversations, understand client needs, and position our client’s full service offering effectively.
2. Sales Growth & Conversion
* Produce compelling proposals, quotes, and presentations tailored to customer requirements.
* Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to signed agreement.
3. Strategic Relationship Building
* Establish strong relationships with decision-makers across construction firms, main contractors, and developers.
* Represent our client at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities to elevate brand awareness.
* Collaborate closely with the Head of Growth to refine and execute sales strategies.
4. Cross-Department Collaboration
* Work with Operations and Account Management teams to ensure seamless client onboarding.
* Share insights, market feedback, and emerging trends to support wider business improvement and innovation.
5. Market & Industry Awareness
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the construction and waste management landscape.
* Monitor competitor activity and evolving customer needs to identify new opportunities.
* Use data-driven insights to support forecasting, planning, and strategic decision-making.
