This is an excellent opportunity to join an international business with a great reputation locally. This position will be well suited to a candidate who is well experienced working with laboratory equipment and from a chemistry background who is looking to move into a more sales based and customer facing role. This position will offer the opportunity to work with end users in developing world renowned products as well as travelling internationally to liaise with customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
5. Develop LC /MS and GC/MS methods with a variety of sample preparation technique.
6. Preparing and performing demonstrations on products to small or large groups effectively, online or in-person.
7. Train customers, field reps and other co-workers on effective sample preparation techniques.
8. Evaluate potential products and provide input for new product development. Maintain and keep abreast of competitor activity.
Requirements
9. Degree qualified in a chemistry related subject.
10. Experience in a customer facing role is beneficial, but not essential.
11. Knowledge of sample preparation laboratory automation equipment is an advantage.
12. Strong chemistry background with experience processing small molecules in biofluid (blood, urine, and oral fluid) samples in a hospital/clinical or commercial lab.
