Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join a high-profile commercial site located in the heart of St James's, London.
This is a client-facing role responsible for leading a team of four engineers, ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and compliance of all building services across a prestigious estate. The successful candidate will act as the on-site lead, managing both day-to-day engineering activity and liaising directly with the client to deliver first-class service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate a team of four on-site engineers, ensuring efficient delivery of PPMs, reactive maintenance, and engineering support.
Act as the primary client contact, maintaining strong communication and professional relationships.
Oversee and perform maintenance and repairs to all electrical and mechanical building services systems (including lighting, power, emergency systems, HVAC support, and plant equipment).
Manage workloads, delegate tasks, and ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures.
Support with site documentation, permits to work, and operational logs.
Participate in the call-out rota and overtime opportunities across wider sites when required.
Promote a proactive approach to safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
Assist with subcontractor management, ensuring all works are completed to required standards.
Skills and Qualifications Required
Recognised Level 3 Electrical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services systems and a good understanding of mechanical plant.
Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment.
Flexible approach to working hours, including participation in call-out and overtime across other sites as needed
