We're looking for an experienced and motivated Daytime Café Supervisor to lead our daytime operations and support our growing team.
The Role
As Daytime Café Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily café operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting the team to deliver a high-quality experience every day. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, coffee culture, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and support the daytime café team during service
* Ensure exceptional customer service and a welcoming environment
* Manage opening procedures and daily café operations
* Train and motivate staff to maintain high standards
* Oversee food and drink quality, presentation, and consistency
* Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering
* Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and health & safety standards
* Support management with rota planning and daily reporting
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a café supervisor, bar supervisor, or senior barista
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Passion for coffee, food, and hospitality
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable, organised, and proactive
* Barista experience preferred
* Personal licence (desirable but not essential)
