*This role is based primarilly in our Manchester studio, however you will also be required to travel frequently to our Leeds studio.*

Overall job purpose
Developing and delivering the artistic direction and visual identity of marketing and photography campaigns within the FMCG sector, with
specific focus in food and drink
. The ideal candidate will have experience in blending strategic thinking, conceptual creativity, and art direction to produce outstanding work that exceeds client expectations.
MAIN DUTIES
Working closely with the Creative Directors and wider creative team, the main duties include – but not limited to:
1. Conceptualisation and ideation - Lead brainstorming sessions and collaborate with creative teams to generate innovative ideas.
2. Develop visual approaches and styles across a range of different category-leading clients.
3. Ensure that creative concepts align with brand guidelines and channel best practices as well as resonate with the target audience.
4. Provide strategic guidance and creative direction throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Serve as a key client-facing representative, presenting creative concepts and strategies to clients and effectively articulating the rationale behind creative decisions.
6. Art directing photography and video shoots (a mix of high-fi and low fi formats) for media including OOH, Print, Social etc.
7. On set art direction, executing the deliverables in line with creative concept.
8. Collaborate closely with account management, content and creative production to understand client objectives and develop creative solutions that align with their goals.
9. Provide creative guidance to internal team members.
10. Help maintain, preserve, and progress the STM GRP brand and our image both internally and externally.
11. Ensure all work is carried out on time and in accordance with the requirements of the brief.

1. Flexible attitude with regards to normal hours of work when heavy workload dictates.
2. Cover the essential duties of the team during periods of absence and holidays.
3. Take responsibility for workload priorities when faced with a heavy workload.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
1. Participate in the Company's appraisal process.
2. Carry out training and development of others as and when required.
3. Identify your own (and your team's) training needs and discuss these with your Line Manager.
4. Undertake any necessary training and development which leads to increased knowledge and skill, as agreed with your Line Manager
Qualifications, skills and experience
2-3 years+ agency experience, ideally in the FMCG sector.
Experience art directing food and drink photography and videography shoots.
Confident in Powerpoint / Keynote / InDesign
Knowledge and understanding of photographic and retouch processes to create the perfect output.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Willing to travel, if shooting on location.
