We are keen to speak with qualified Legal Executives or Solicitors with EL/PL experience. Our client is a leading law firm. They are looking at both Associate and Senior Associate-level. The successful candidates will be working with predominantly self-insured corporate clients across a range of exciting sectors such as research and development and pharmaceuticals on an equally impressive variety of matters.
Job Overview
* Job Title: Personal Injury Solicitor (NQ+)
* Location: Bristol (Hybrid working)
* Salary: £56,000 to £95,000
* Experience Level: NQ +
* Practice Area: Personal Injury (Defendant EL/PL) – the majority of the work will be defendant EL/PL with some exposure to regulatory work
* Reporting To: Two Partners
Quality EL/PL work as well as exposure to regulatory
Not only does the role involve personal injury work, but because of the nature of the claims, you will also gain access to the regulatory aspects which arise out of such claims. As such, you will gain experience of regulatory investigations as well as possible inquests.
Associates and Senior Associates considered
The Partners are considering a wide range of candidate. However, as a guide they are looking for:
* Newly qualified (NQ) Solicitors up to 8 PQE and beyond with defendant personal injury experience although it should be stressed that all levels of PQE will be considered.
* Lawyers with strong EL/PL litigation skills
* Candidates interested in regulatory law, inquests, and investigations (experience preferred but not essential)

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a personal injury solicitor to manage a diverse caseload of employers’ liability (EL) and public liability (PL) claims. EL/PL matters include fast track, multi-track as well as catastrophic injury.
You will be working with leading insurer and corporate clients across the life sciences, R&D and pharma sector. Furthermore, you will gain exposure to other complex legal matters, including HSE investigations, inquests, and regulatory issues.
Snapshot of the role
✔ Manage a caseload of EL/PL claims (fast-track and multi-track as well as catastrophic injury)
✔ Provide expert legal advice on personal injury litigation
✔ Work on investigations, inquests, and regulatory cases related to claims
✔ Collaborate with partners and senior solicitors to develop legal strategies on complex personal injury cases arising out of product liability disputes.
