Dudley Motor Company, part of the Worcester Carsales Group, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to lead our busy Vauxhall Service Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with a proven track record in the motor trade to join a well-established, customer-focused dealership.
About the Role:
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our service department, managing a team of skilled technicians and service advisors to deliver the highest standards of customer care, productivity, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, motivate, and develop the service team to achieve departmental targets
* Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention through excellent service
* Manage workshop loading, efficiency, and quality control
* Monitor financial performance, budgets, and key metrics (CSI, WIP, etc.)
* Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and company policies
* Work closely with other departments to optimise aftersales performance
About You:
* Must have proven experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager within a franchised dealership
* Strong leadership, coaching, and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Commercial awareness with the ability to drive profitability
* Knowledge of DMS systems and manufacturer service processes
