In this role, you will play a pivotal role in managing the touchpoint between the core development and client systems teams. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the full systems structure, with multiple avenues for professional development.
You will report to the Lead Configuration Analyst, with the primary focus on ensuring all client configuration creation and change activities are executed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You should be technically minded and adept at understanding, documenting, and communicating the context and impact of configuration changes within a system.

The Role
1. Produce and interpret configuration requirements for functionality within the BenefitConnect system.
2. Analyze and interpret changes to data structures or configurations made by development teams.
3. Work closely with new clients, Installations, Data Migration teams, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes post-implementation.
4. Discuss changes and their functional impacts with development teams.
5. Document configuration options related to data changes.
6. Collaborate with the Lead Configuration and other analysts to determine the best way to apply client-specific configurations.
7. Liaise with development teams to confirm data structure changes and discuss their functional implications, documenting new changes and discussing them with client systems teams.
8. Carry out validation and testing of configuration changes in coordination with QA.
9. Contribute as a member of a focused, technically competent data team committed to excellence.
10. Understand the impact of data items within the system and the context in which they are set.
11. Interpret business or legislative requirements and their practical impacts.
The Requirements
1. Experience with DC, DB, or Hybrid occupational pension schemes.
2. Experience using database tools like SQL or Excel.
3. Understanding of database table design and dependencies.
4. Strong analytical skills, including data comparison.
5. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
6. Strong time management skills and the ability to organize workloads effectively.
7. Some understanding of the UK pensions technical landscape or experience interpreting complex requirements.
