Job Description
* Assist with preparation of financial reports
* Support the management of accounting records and ledgers
* Help with the production of monthly management accounts
* Contribute to budget preparation and financial planning processes
* Support with tax returns and compliance
* Assist with audit preparation and cooperate with external auditors
* Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and regulatory requirements
* Support other finance department tasks as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
* A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
* A proactive attitude and the ability to work well in a team
* Proficiency in accounting software
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
