Application and Data Support Analyst

Bristol (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Salary:
£35,000 – £38,000 (DOE)
Peaple Talent has partnered with an award-winning investment solutions platform with an entrepreneurial and innovative culture. They are looking for an Application and Data Support Analyst to join their IT team. You will play a key role in triaging and managing support requests, resolving application and database issues, and working with stakeholders across the business to ensure smooth delivery of technical support.
The Role:
* Troubleshoot and resolve application and data-related issues
* Manage and triage support requests from internal and external sources
* Analyse and query production data using SQL
* Produce reports and dashboards for business and technical teams
* Access production systems for incident management and debugging
* Document processes, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles
* Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and developers
* Support quality assurance and compliance within a regulated environment
The Candidate:
* Proven experience in a customer or technical support role
* Strong SQL skills in a production environment (querying, updating, analysing data)
* Experience with support software and ticket management
* Excellent data analysis and reporting capabilities
* Knowledge of financial services is desirable (regulated environment experience beneficial)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Confident working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Proactive, resourceful, and able to take initiative
* Positive, resilient, and team-oriented attitude
The Package:
* Base salary: £35,000 – £38,000 (DOE)
* Hybrid working (3 days onsite in Bristol)
