We are seeking a strong non-clinical Care Home Deputy Manager to join an established elderly Home in the Godalming area.

A passionate and dedicated individual is required to help run a comfortable, 28 bedded Care Home near Godalming as their new Deputy Home Manager. This is a full-time, permanent Deputy Manager position paying a very competitive starting salary of c.£35,000 per annum (DOE), working core hours Monday to Friday.
The home specialises in elderly and dementia care and is rated ‘Good’ in all areas in their CQC report. They are a part of an established, family-owned care company with services across Surrey and a string reputation in the industry and local area.
As Deputy Care Home Manager, you will be part of the management team that sets the tone for delivering the very highest standards of person-centred care. You will be involved in everything from the orientation and development of staff, liaising with families and other healthcare professionals, to being responsible for maintaining detailed and accurate care records.
Previous Deputy Care Home Manager or Care Manager experience is preferred. Key duties will include assisting with the rota and care plans and the Deputy Manager will also supervise the care team on the floor, stepping in where needed to promote best practice.
Experienced Care Team Leaders / Head of Cares with at least NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care are encouraged to apply.
Deputy Care Manager profile:
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care minimum
* Medication trained
* Experience of working within a Care Home environment
* Proficient with care plans, risk assessments, supervisions, liaising with families and other healthcare professionals
Deputy Care Manager duties will include:
* Shift leading and ensuring a high quality of care provision is maintained
* Carrying out audits in conjunction with the Registered Manager
* Working to maintain the standards as set out by the Health and Social Care Act, CQC, and any other relevant legislation
