About the Opportunity
As the Head of Volunteer Acquisition, you will support the strategic growth of our volunteer acquisition function. Working closely with the Head of Volunteer Acquisition and a team of Volunteer Talent Acquisition Managers, you will design sourcing strategies, manage outreach initiatives, improve the onboarding process, and drive consistent growth in volunteer engagement across EMEA, Americas, and APAC. You will help shape acquisition strategy, lead the team, and deliver long‑term value to the organization.
Duration & Engagement
3 months, part‑time (at least 3 hours per day), remote.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor the Volunteer Talent Acquisition team across EMEA, Americas, and APAC.
* Design and implement sourcing processes to attract skilled volunteers worldwide using job boards, digital platforms, educational networks, and social media.
* Ensure a consistent and smooth volunteer onboarding experience.
* Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging, tools, and workflows.
* Monitor performance using CRM, track outreach and conversion metrics, and provide regular reports and strategic recommendations.
* Identify challenges and drive process improvements.
* Represent the Volunteer Acquisition team in internal meetings when required.
Requirements
* Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, outreach, user acquisition, or community growth.
* Leadership or team coordination experience (formal or informal).
* Strong understanding of sourcing strategies and digital outreach.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities remotely.
* Fluent in English (Spanish or Portuguese is a plus).
* Familiarity with CRM or digital tools is an advantage.
* Passion for people, startups, and opportunity creation.
