There is a vacancy for a practical individual to work as a Site Plumber within an established engineering team. The Site Plumbing Technician should be self-motivated, confident in communication, and responsible for reactive and PPM works across a site in central London. The role involves liaising with clients' approved contractors, with a good understanding of Building Public Services and commercial plumbing systems. The candidate should be well-presented and capable of providing technical advice to line managers and the facilities team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Carry out reactive maintenance repairs across the site.
* Inspect services and proactively address repairs as needed.
* Quote for parts and equipment for tasks.
* Work according to recognized industry standards.
* Fault finding and logical troubleshooting.
* Undertake training, including health and safety courses and professional development.
* Assist other trades when required.
* Update and close reactive and PPM tasks on the Corrigo system.
* Maintain engineering standards for efficient operation and reliability.
* Adhere to QA and site procedures, including health and safety protocols.
* Maintain tools in safe condition.
* Perform plumbing tasks such as repairs and replacements of toilets, sinks, taps, water heaters, pipework, pumps, valves, and unblocking systems.
* Carry out PPM tasks like pump checks, TMV servicing, and water testing.
* Provide detailed reports and documentation for works completed.
* Complete necessary certificates, method statements, and risk assessments.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* C&G 6035 Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing or recognized equivalent.
* Extensive knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and health & safety regulations.
* BPEC Water Supply Regulations 1999.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Presentable appearance and good communication skills.
* Self-motivated, adaptable, and flexible in work approach.
