The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our commercial team across both divisions. This is a key role, responsible for managing project costs, contracts, and risks while ensuring best value and supporting successful delivery.
You will have the opportunity to work across diverse projects — from EV charging rollouts and energy solutions to fit-out and construction schemes as Principal Contractor.
Key Responsibilities

Lead cost management across the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through delivery.
· Prepare, review, and analyse budgets, tenders, and subcontractor packages.
· Administer contracts (NEC and JCT), manage valuations, variations, and change control.
· Lead subcontractor procurement, payments, and commercial negotiations.
· Prepare CVRs, forecasts, and board-level commercial reports.
· Monitor project risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
· Maintain strong client, consultant, and subcontractor relationships.
· Mentor and support junior QS team members, promoting collaboration.
About You
·
Proven experience as a Senior QS within construction, infrastructure, or energy projects.
· Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
· Excellent cost management, forecasting, and reporting skills.
· Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
