Hours of Work Monday to Friday We have a new opportunity arisen for a Strategic Account Manager to join the Corporate Commercial existing business team. As our Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for the management, development and retention of a portfolio of highly business critical and complex Strategic Accounts. Working closely with other team members to help maximize client relationships and increase sales through real time and strategic solutions. You will work with our existing strategic customers to identify opportunities for growth that add value for both businesses beyond just a commercial agreement. The Ideal Strategic Account Manager will: Ensure effective stakeholder relationships are identified and developed internally and also within the customer base. Successfully develop and manage a business pipeline to maximise account growth and profit. Manage customer accounts through robust business planning. Conduct business account reviews, at agreed time frequencies. Negotiate contractual agreements to maximise business potential. Negotiate all re-tenders of existing customers to retain business at agreed sales and profit levels. Utilise data and systems to understand the profile of your customer to forecast annual volumes, sales and margin values. To be successful as our Strategic Account Manager, you will have: Complete understanding of the sales and business development process, with strong commercial acumen, with experience and a proven track record in sales and margin development and retender process at corporate level. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Strong proven negotiation skills at senior level in a competitive business environment. Demonstrate ability to come up with new and constructive ideas to solve problems or improve own and/or team efficiency. Uses commercial judgment and is able to apply multiple factors when arriving at a decision/recommendation. This role covers a large geographical area, extensive travel and overnight stays may be required. You are required to hold a full valid Driving Licence.
