We enable groups to go on holiday together both in the UK and Abroad……. some of these guys and girls have been going on holiday together for years and years and it is a highlight of their year.
We give training opportunities to enable you to train in various activities as well as training in the care of individuals with various learning abilities.
We are looking for a committed person to join our small team we work Monday to Friday day and evenings on a rota basis then we work Saturday and Sunday days between 9 am and 4 pm working every other weekend on a rota basis.
We are looking for someone to take on 2 staff 1x20 hours and 1x30 hours contract initially with plenty of overtime due to covering holidays etc.
We have 4 weeks paid holiday plus Bank Holidays.

Duties
* Facilitate engaging activities and programmes that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation amongst our clients.
* Collaborate with care staff to develop individualised care plans that address the unique needs of each person.
* Maintain open lines of communication with clients, families, and staff to ensure a supportive environment.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and adjust as necessary to meet the evolving needs of residents.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for engaging with clients
* Run activity sessions
* Promote Independence
* Promote communication
* Promote friendships
* MUST BE A DRIVER - HELD LICENCE FOR 3 YEARS AND ABOVE
Requirements
* Strong caregiving skills with a genuine passion for supporting clients with Learning Difficulties.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while also demonstrating initiative when required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.08 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
