Job Description
The role of the Activity Coordinator:
* To provide and promote activities within the home
* To engage residents in a variety of activities within the home and within the wider community
* To maintain current activity plans and develop future activity plans for residents
* To maintain and enhance the contacts within the community who provide activity opportunities
* To work alongside other activity coordinators within the home communicating all aspect to the registered manager.
* To work alongside other staff members within the whole team at Town Thorns
* To contribute to and assist in the development of individualised care plans for residents at Town Thorns.
* To fund raise for the residents comfort fund, involving the residents and their families.
* To maintain contact with the relatives through face time, letters, telephone calls etc
* To produce a monthly newsletter for the residents, relatives and professionals
* To promote residents independence, privacy and dignity at all times.
The post is subject to satisfactory Enhanced DBS.
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Job Types: Contract, Permanent
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
