Pay: £89 to £100 a day
New Directions Education is seeking a supportive and motivated Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 2 class in a vibrant South Manchester primary school. This long-term role offers the chance to help pupils grow in confidence as they prepare for Key Stage 2.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting pupils during whole-class teaching, small groups, and targeted interventions
2. Assisting with reading, writing, maths, and broader curriculum tasks
3. Encouraging positive behaviour and independent learning
4. Providing extra support for pupils who may need a confidence boost or additional help
5. Working closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality learning
What we’re looking for:
6. Experience working in KS1 or with primary-aged children
7. Friendly, adaptable, and proactive attitude
8. Strong communication and organisational skills
9. A genuine desire to make a difference
