I am currently partnering with a well-respected secondary school in Yeovil seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced educators and ambitious Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are keen to grow within a supportive and progressive school environment.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality History lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience beneficial but not essential)
* Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities
✅ The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold QTS (or be working towards it)
* Possess strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for History
* Demonstrate effective classroom management and clear communication skills
* Be committed to supporting student progress and raising attainment
* Show a proactive attitude and work well as part of a team
