Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Branch Manager to maximize sales and achieve targets while ensuring first‑class service to all customers. The role provides full autonomy within the branch and support from the local management team.
Responsibilities
* Achieve branch sales, margin, and targets.
* Ensure first‑class service to all customers.
* Lead the branch team with a focus on great customer service and communication while achieving sales and promotional targets.
* Manage and control branch operating costs.
* Control stock, including stock‑taking and adjustments.
* Handle cash and specific customer account controls.
* Implement and maintain policies and procedures in line with senior management.
* Communicate key aims and objectives to the team.
* Oversee the daily running of all branch activities.
* Maintain health and safety within the depot.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Branch Manager or an experienced Motor Factor Parts Advisor / Assistant Branch Manager looking for progression.
* Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve objectives.
* Strong communication skills at all levels.
* Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.
* Proficiency with online and Windows‑based cataloguing systems.
* Leadership ability to create a cohesive team environment.
* Capacity to work in a fast‑paced environment.
* Sales focus and can‑do attitude.
* Strong multitasking skills, distinguishing between urgent and important tasks.
* Knowledge of the local area and customer base desirable but not essential.
