Primary Cover Supervisor

We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Primary Cover Supervisor to join our team of education professionals. The successful candidate will provide cover supervision and support across a range of primary year groups, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of classroom teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
*Supervise classes of primary students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
*Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and resources provided by classroom teachers, maintaining continuity of learning and instruction.
*Manage student behavior and promote positive engagement in learning activities, applying school policies and procedures as needed.
*Provide support and assistance to students during independent or group work, answering questions and offering guidance as required.
*Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teaching staff and reporting any concerns or incidents appropriately.
*Support the wider school community by assisting with administrative tasks, organizing resources, and contributing to the smooth running of the school day.
Qualifications and Experience:
*Educated to A-level standard or equivalent.
*Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
*Confidence and resilience in managing classroom behavior and maintaining a positive learning environment.
*Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups and subject areas as required.
*Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo clearance) is essential.
