Job Title: Tenancy Manager

Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire

Reports to: Lettings Manager / Branch Director

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent


Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and organised Tenancy Manager to join a well-established and reputable lettings and estate agency based in Basingstoke. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the tenancy process, ensuring an exceptional service is delivered to both landlords and tenants, while maintaining full compliance with current lettings legislation.


Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the full tenancy lifecycle
* Act as the primary point of contact for tenants and landlords, providing clear and professional communication.
* Manage tenancy renewals, rent reviews, and end-of-tenancy procedures in line with company standards and legal requirements.
* Arrange and follow up on property inspections, maintenance works, and safety certification renewals.
* Ensure full compliance with lettings legislation, including right-to-rent checks, deposit protection, and health and safety regulations.
* Coordinate check-ins, check-outs, and inventory management with relevant contractors or third parties.
* Handle maintenance issues and tenancy-related disputes promptly and effectively.
* Maintain accurate tenancy records and update property management systems.
* Work closely with the lettings and property management teams to ensure a high level of customer service and operational efficiency.


Skills and Experience Required

* Previous experience in a Tenancy Manager, Property Manager, or similar role within the residential lettings industry.
* Strong understanding of UK lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
