Key Responsibilities
1. Formulate the UK & Ireland IT strategy and contribute to regional business plans aligned with regional and corporate policies.
2. Set direction and oversee the preparation and execution of IT plans, integrating regional and global applications.
3. Lead strategic activities and initiatives with significant impact and high business risk.
4. Manage IT budgets, proposals, and major investments.
5. Establish IT governance mechanisms within corporate guidelines.
6. Ensure effective delivery of IT services and solutions aligned with business priorities.
7. Evaluate and approve major IT projects, including regional integration projects.
8. Drive project delivery within quality, time, and budget constraints.
9. Manage relationships with IT service providers locally and globally.
10. Communicate and sell critical targets and objectives internally.
11. Negotiate contracts and modify terms as needed.
12. Build strong business and IT relationships within the region.
13. Implement world-class IT operations and practices regionally.
14. Introduce innovations to improve regional operations.
Skills And Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have senior leadership experience with a focus on respect and results. Proven success in developing and implementing impactful IT strategies aligned with global objectives is essential. Experience working within a matrix organization and leading cultural change is advantageous.
* University degree / MBA.
* 8-10 years of relevant IT experience.
* Supply chain experience is preferred but not mandatory.
* Experience in strategic planning for large teams or units.
