Job Title: Fabricator / Grinder
Job Description
Join a dynamic team where your skills in fabricating and grinding will contribute to the production of high-quality pipe, rails, and miscellaneous materials. Work at a fast pace to meet job deadlines and ensure that all jobs are organized after welding and grinding are complete.
Responsibilities
* Weld and grind pipe, rails, and miscellaneous materials to meet company quality standards.
* Maintain a fast-paced workflow to meet job deadlines efficiently.
* Transition smoothly between various jobs to ensure deadlines are met.
* Organize completed jobs effectively after welding and grinding are finished.
Essential Skills
* Experience in pipe fitting or welding.
* Proficiency in MIG welding, especially on pipes.
* Capability to read blueprints and perform industrial welding.
* Knowledge of carbon steel and flux core welding techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Familiarity with hand tools, metal finishing, and grinding processes.
* Ability to use grinders, cut, and assemble pipes.

Work Environment
Enjoy working in a very clean and organized manufacturing shop with a schedule of 40-55 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with potential for Saturday work as needed. Shifts typically run from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with the possibility of extended hours until 4:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
