The business is known for its world-class machining capability and commitment to quality.We are looking for an experienced 5-Axis CNC Machinist/Programmer to support the production of complex, high-tolerance machined castings. Youll play a key role in proving out new products and batch work while ensuring exceptional accuracy and efficiency.CNC Miller Programmer Responsibilities:Set and operate 5-axis CNC machines for new product development and batch productionCreate and edit programs using Mazak (Mazatrol Smooth) and/or Heidenhain controlsWork from technical drawings and specifications to determine machining operationsProve out complex parts engineered offline and confidently resolve machining challengesCarry out in-process measurements using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Perform routine maintenance to optimise machine performanceCollaborate with engineering teams to improve processes and enhance product qualityMaintain a safe, clean and organised work environmentCNC Miller Programmer Experience:Level 3 machining qualificationMinimum five years experience machining complex ferrous and non-ferrous componentsSkilled with Heidenhain and/or Mazak 5-axis controls (offline programming experience welcome)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with confidence in proving out development partsAbility to interpret technical drawings with excellent attention to detailAble to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentFor more information on the CNC Miller Programmer position contact Ewan Smyth at Stirling WarringtonTPBN1_UKTJ
