Job summary
We are seeking to recruit a Clinical Pharmacist keen to workwithin General Practice. The role is working St Stephens Gate Medical Practice andLakenham Surgery as part of Central PCN.
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providingpharmaceutical care to patients in a clinical setting, assessing medicationhistories and making recommendations for optimal drug therapy, monitoringpatients' medication regimens, and collaborating with healthcare professionalsto ensure safe and effective medication use. You will also have the opportunityto educate patients and healthcare staff on medication-related topics.
As an ARRS role (Additional Role Reimbursement Scheme) you will be supportedin the CPPE pathway which provides a structured training programme for workingin Primary Care.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for evidence of:
1. Registered as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
2. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Pharmacy
3. Experience in a clinical setting, such as a hospital or community healthcare center
4. Excellent knowledge of medications, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical guidelines
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
7. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
8. Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development
9. Holding an independent prescribing qualification or working towards qualification (this will be included in the CPPE pathway
10. Has an experience/awareness of the breadth of common acute and long-term conditions that are likely to be seen in a general medical practice.
