A specialist SEND provider in Bath is looking for dedicated Outdoor Educational Sports Coaches to join their team on a flexible basis. Whether you're available part-time, full-time, or for ad hoc work, we’d love to hear from you. The Role: •Deliver outdoor sports and physical activity sessions tailored to small groups of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). •Support students' physical, social, and emotional development through structured outdoor learning and sport. •Work independently or alongside other staff to manage sessions and respond to individual needs. •Adapt activities to support students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, SEMH, and behavioural challenges. What We’re Looking For: •Background in sports coaching, outdoor education, or physical education. •Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational or SEND setting. •Confident supporting individuals and small groups with diverse and complex needs. •Flexible, hardworking, and committed to making a positive difference. •Strong communication skills and an ability to build relationships with pupils and staff. Desirable: •Experience in a SEND environment. •Relevant qualifications in sports, youth work, or outdoor education. •A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
