An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our support staff team at Herne Bay Infant and Nursery School. We are looking to appoint a motivated, positive and enthusiastic person who is committed to delivering high quality provision to our pupils under the direction and supervision of the classroom teacher and to cover classes for PPA in Key Stage 1 and EYFS.

Position type: Fixed-term
Contract end: 31st August 2026, due to cover of a colleague
Hours: 6 hours across one day per week (day of week open to discussion)
Time: 8:30am - 3:30pm (including one hour unpaid lunch)
Weeks: Term-time only, equivalent to 38 weeks per year
Visits to our school are welcome and warmly encouraged.
