Are you a recently qualified or early-career Family Solicitor looking to develop your skills within a highly regarded, supportive legal practice?
My client is looking for an ambitious and compassionate Family Solicitor to join their expanding Family & Childcare team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of one of the region's leading law firms and work alongside specialists who are nationally recognised by Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500 .
You'll have exposure to a broad range of privately and publicly funded family matters while receiving expert guidance from experienced solicitors and Legal Aid-accredited professionals.
The Role
As a Solicitor in the Family Law department, you will assist with and manage a growing caseload of family matters, including:
* Divorce and separation
* Private and public children's law matters
* Domestic abuse and protective injunctions
* Financial arrangements following relationship breakdown
* Legal Aid and publicly funded family cases
* Supporting senior lawyers with more complex or high-conflict matters
You will work closely with senior colleagues and benefit from hands-on supervision, structured development plans, and the opportunity to grow into a confident, skilled family lawyer.
About You
* Qualified Solicitor (0-4 years PQE) with a passion for family law
* Some experience gained during training or post-qualification in family matters
* A sensitive, client-focused approach and a desire to make a positive difference
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Willingness to undertake Legal Aid work (training will be provided if needed)
* A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn from experienced colleagues
* Commitment to professional development and progression
