Overview of ROLE
The primary focus of this role is to support the UK Family Office Client Relationship Management team in providing excellent service to a portfolio of ultra-high net-worth clients. The role involves regular liaison with clients, internal stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions, and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for clients in the absence of the Client Relationship Manager/Senior Client Relationship Manager and will eventually be responsible for maintaining and servicing their own client portfolio.
MAIN DUTIES
Relationship Management Responsibilities
* Support Relationship Managers by providing client servicing support and representing them as appropriate.
* Respond to client queries and internal requests, resolving or escalating as needed.
* Coordinate with third-party professionals such as lawyers, tax specialists, and asset managers for relevant advice.
* Prepare data and presentation packs for client meetings.
* Maintain relationships within the firm to effectively manage client affairs and identify new business opportunities.
* Ensure timely and accurate execution of transactions related to client management.
* Develop in-depth knowledge of clients, their businesses, and family dynamics; maintain detailed client records.
* Review legal, financial, and tax documentation prepared by third-party advisors, providing comments as necessary.
* Support ongoing client monitoring, including reviews and fee inquiries.
* Ensure compliance with group principles, regulatory requirements, and standards.
* Perform other duties as reasonably assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree-level education.
* Private client qualification (e.g., Chartered Tax Advisor, ACA with private client expertise, or experience in a private client law firm department).
* Knowledge of UK tax implications for trusts and resident individuals, and understanding of corporate and trust structuring within a family context.
* Experience supporting Relationship Managers in a HNW/UHNW environment.
* Proven ability to identify and meet customer requirements.
* Knowledge of wealth management and wealth structures.
