Key Responsibilities
1. Advising on Farm Business Tenancies, Agricultural Holdings Act Tenancies, and Grazing Licences.
2. Handling the sale and purchase of agricultural property and businesses.
3. Acting for lenders on security and funding matters.
4. Drafting and advising on development agreements, including options, easements, and overage/clawback agreements.
5. Delivering high-quality client service and tailored legal advice to rural and agricultural clients.
6. Building and maintaining strong client relationships to encourage repeat work and referrals.
7. Managing files effectively using case management and time recording systems.
8. Ensuring compliance with professional practice rules and regulatory standards.
9. Supporting marketing and business development initiatives.
10. Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities.
About You
11. At least 3 years PQE with demonstrable experience in agricultural law.
12. A strong understanding of rural property, land management, and agricultural business operations.
13. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
14. A proactive, organised, and client-focused approach to work.
15. Commitment to professional development and delivering exceptional client service.
